Garmin Europe is pleased to announce the new portable StreetPilot which extends our existing range of StreetPilot c300 series: the StreetPilot c310. The StreetPilot c310 is the most affordable unit of our StreetPilot C-series range. The StreetPilot c310 offers the same features and functions as the already successful StreetPilot c320, the main differences being: • Pre-loaded with UK & Ireland only • Full 8 digit UK Post Code • User customizable POI (Points Of Interest) data base for the inclusion of Safety Camera data (available to download from 3rd party websites). The C-series range provides premium in-car navigation capability with automatic route calculation to any destination, turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions and a three-dimensional navigation view. The c-series offers all of the functions of a premium in-dash system at a fraction of the cost. For the ultimate out-of-the-box convenience, the StreetPilot c310 comes preloaded with highly detailed MapSource® City Select® street data of 1 specific region on a 256MB SD card with our new NT (New technology) mapping format. The database features an industry-leading millions-plus points of interest — including hotels, restaurants, petrol stations and attractions. Map data is provided by NAVTEQ™, a world leader in premium-quality mapping. The StreetPilot c310 also includes the standard basemap covering all of Europe so users can still travel outside the programmed card's coverage area using major roads. Customers will be able to buy pre-programmed SD cards for each of the 8 regions as an accessory.
